Arizona is not an open state, making birth and death records confidential. Birth records less then 75 years since the event, and death records less then 50 years since the event are eligibility-restricted. Marriage and divorce records are maintained by the County Cleark in which the event occurred.

Certified copies of birth and death reacords are $20.00 with an additional $12.95 processing fee. Other fees will apply for expediting or quick ship requests. Records may be requested by mail or through vitalchek.

Santa Cruz County Health Services only issues certified death certificates from February 1, 2008 to present. It does not issue certified Arizona birth records or birth and death records from other states.Arizona Birth and Death Records Online Search provides uncertified copies of birth records 75 years after date of birth (1800-1946) and death records 50 years after date of death (1800-1971).
