Marjorie Turner Bride of D. Reed Mock

The Seventh Day Adventist church at Patagonia was the scene a week ago Thursday of the marriage of Miss Marjorie Cleo Turner, daughter of Mrs. Delia Turner of Patagonia, and Delmar Reed Mock of Santa Maria, Calif. Rev Clifford Norman Eck man, pastor of the Tucson S.D.A. church and presiding rector of the Patagonia church, officiated.

Flowers and ferns decorated the altar, and a large silver bell was suspended from the ceiling.  Smaller silver bells on white ribbons hung from the bell.  Streamers formed a canopy to a latticework covered with vines and roses at the back of the altar.  Traiditional wedding music was played by Mrs. Nadia Banta.  Miss Eloise Turner, sister of the bride, sang "I Love You Truly," accompanied by Miss Beth Fortune.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her brother, Jack Turner, wore a blue silk crepe dress with white accessories and carried an arm bouquet of red roses. Mrs. William Watson, sister of the bride, attended as matron of honor, and Mr. Watson was best man.

After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of Mrs. Mock's mother. The couple spent a few days in Patagonia and then left for Santa Maria, where Mr. Mock is employed at the general hospital.

Mr. and Mrs. Mock were graduated from La Sierra College at Arlington, Calf., this summer. Mr. Mock studied medicine and will complete his training at Loma Linda Medical College.
